I was admitted on Oct 2nd for a revision mastoidectomy. Very painful let me tell you. From booking in through to my overnight stay on ward 8d I can fault absolutely nothing. I am almost totally deaf without my hearing aids and due to op being on ear was unable to wear one side and struggled to hear from other and was worried this would be an issue but instead the staff whether receptionists, orderlies, nurses, aides, anaesthetists or whoever were impeccable in manner, treatment and care. They were professional at all times but with a smile, a kind reassuring word, a giggle or two, sympathy, in other words a human touch.
I would definitely undergo any further treatment here as I believe I would be hard pushed to find this same level and standard anywhere else. Thank you for making me feel like a patient with my own individuality not a nuisance.
"Thank you"
