What I liked

Efficient, welcoming hospital staff with clear evidence that the site has major ongoing improvement work but still functions well despite this. The new buildings will be an asset but careful planning has meant minimal disruption to the patient experience whilst this happens.

What could be improved

Car parking, although this is admittedly temporary. The car park is some distance from parts of the hospital and it can mean a long walk.

Anything else?

I have been a patient here for 10 years now and have never had anything less than excellent care, Staff are friendly and flexible, and appointment services will happily assist you if you need to change a booking. Waiting times for consultant clinics seem to be fairly short and there is much evidence of "joined-up" care in referrals between departments.

I was referred from one consultant to another in a separate department and this was no more than a couple of weeks despite it being a non-urgent matter.
