"Acute stroke treatment (Heydon Ward)"

Following an emergency referral (by ambulance) by my GP, I received intravenous treatment well within the window needed to effect a cure.

Within barely two hours the treatment was complete and I had been moved up to Heydon Ward.

All the staff I encountered throughout my stay were highly skilled, efficient and very friendly, making the whole experience remarkably comfortable and, after the first few hours, even pleasant.

(Even my fellow patients were good company!)
