"Colonoscopy at Scarborough Hospital."

I know that many people who are warned for colonoscopy will be filled with fear and apprehension; not primarily because of the likelihood of any sinister discovery which may ensue (and let us face it that is the whole reason for colonoscopy) but because of the perceived indignity and discomfort of the procedure itself.

I recently underwent colonoscopy at the Endoscopy unit in Scarborough Hospital and must say that the dignity, respect and general care afforded to me was first class....given also that this was my first experience.

I strongly recommend the Endoscopy Unit at our local hospital in Scarborough to all who may require its services.
