So far throughout my pregnancy I can't complain at all. The midwives have been absolutely incredible throughout the last 9 months.
Having had a lot of complications, especially the last few weeks, it's been a scary time but each and every time I've made the trip to the hospital the doctors and midwifes have been faultless.
They've talked me through everything that was happening, all the possibilities of what could have happened and what the best plan of action is and talked me through each decision they were making to make sure I was comfortable and happy to go through with it, if not they decided on a different action. Very clear and straightforward.
Yes at times, communication is a little slow but with such a busy ward this is only to be expected and it is not done deliberately, they are doing an amazing job and still take the time to look after you, make sure that you have food, drinks, if wanted and answer anything you have to ask even when they are beyond busy.
They've been so professional and reassuring the last 9 months, to not only me but my partner and mum as well and I have to say I am feeling completely calm about my sons upcoming birth in a few days because I know my son will be being born into some of the best possible hands.
Honestly cannot praise and thank the doctors and especially the midwifery team enough for everything so far. You have all made the pregnancy and the last few weeks very calming and looked after my son and I incredibly.
"Amazing"
