"Emergency short stay department - outstanding"

I found that the care was beyond what I imagined it would be. The fist couple of weeks I must of been the patient from hell even though I can only remember snippets and the snippets I do remember weren't all that good. Despite this, the staff were very considerate and professional. As I became more lucid, I experienced the care, the worry of the staff regarding my condition. Despite my past 'behaviour', the staff were extremely friendly and put me at ease. They were always encouraging. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I firmly believe that without their support, I would have taken longer to recover both physically and mentally. By the time I was discharged, they felt like extended family members.
