"Colonoscopy and an overnight stay for observation"

Following a difficult colonoscopy resulting in concerns about an emphysema, Dr Kamal who undertook the procedure, the Duty Doctors and Senior Surgeon all took great pains to ensure I was given the necessary care and treatment, kept me fully informed of what was happening and continued to maintain their care and attention right up to the point when I was discharged.

While not a 'regular' hospital visitor, I was very impressed by the respect and care shown by the Doctors and Consultants and their support teams involved in my care.

The South Wing team do a tremendous job with patient care being an obvious focus
