"amount of time I have with my midwife :)"

About: Cumbernauld Community Maternity

(as the patient),

Before my first midwife appt I was a bit nervous about what my midwife would be like, after hearing so many friends complain about their experiences, however, emma is fab and the student midwifes have been lovely & its nice to know I was involved in their learning.

I feel that I have a sufficient amount of time with her and take comfort in knowing emma and the other midwifes are just a phonecall away if I have any concerns.

I look forward to my appointments and having my midwife's support throughout my pregnancy: )

Dear happybumpx

Thank you for your kind comments. I am pleased to hear that your first experience of maternity care has been positive and hopefully dispelled any fears you may have had prior to meeting Emma and the student midwives. It is important to all midwives that you have confidence in her care and that you know how to contact them even out with the clinic appointments.

May I wish you well for the remainder of your pregnancy and I will pass on your kind comments to Emma and the team

Best wishes

Maureen
