"Treatment in medical assesme to ward"

About: St Peter's Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

The woman in the bed next to me called all morning for assistance, eventually having no option but to foul herself, although there were four members of staff on the ward at all times. Junior staff had a hostile and unhelpful attitude.

We are sorry and concerned to hear your account of the care given to the patient in the bed next to you. We would encourage you to contact our Patient Experience Team with details of the ward and when you were admitted to our hospital so that we can investigate this. This is far below the standard of care that we expect from our staff. You can contact our Patient Experience Team on 01932 723553 or email pals@asph.nhs.uk Thank you for taking the time to post your comments, particularly as they are about another patient that you were concerned about.
