"I was admitted as an emergency ..."

About: West Cumberland Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was admitted as an emergency and have just left after a few days on Overwater - I was treated with respect and dignity the whole time and the nursing staff are amazing - working none stop and full of kindness and compassion.

Nothing was too much trouble for them and they bend over backwards to help - and believe it or not the food was very good too! - a massive improvement from when last I had a few spells in this hospital in the early 90's

What could be improved

The bathrooms although clean could have been tidied up a bit more during the days - a couple of times I had pick up paper from the floor - and once I had to clean the seat - ewww!
