"Hope I never have to return"

About: Southampton NHS Treatment Centre

I was already a nervous wreck before I atttended this clinic and I have been since I left it!

At one point there were 4 people plus myself in the room where I had 3 roots removed from a tooth.

Not one of the staff introduced themselves to me to the point I thought the person sat on a stool was a trainee and was infact the surgeon! Despite having a good idea of what the procedure involved, part of which included sedation, nothing was explained to me on the day.

There is more I could add to this review but it would take forever!

Is basic politeness /common courtesy a thing of the past?

I know the NHS are pushed to their limits but good manners cost nothing and I was truly treated as a number, not a person.

There is more I could add to this review but it would take forever!

This patient has been contacted by our dedicated Patient Relations Facilitator. We contacted the patient to apologise for the negative experience in our care and also to gather further information.

The information we received will help us improve the patient journey and try to ensure a patient does not experience care like this again.

We pride ourselves on our impressive Friends and Family scores and we are sincerely sorry that this patient had a negative experience with us.
