What I liked
my son was admitted to rainbow ward HDU with kawasaki disease. the staff at wigan were amazing. they always informed me of everything they were doing and why they were doing it. my son was seriously ill and if it were not for the doctors, nurses, support staff and orderlys, i am sure my son would not have recovered. the ward was cleaned at least twice a day and the staff always told me who they were and what they were doing. i will never be able to put into words how grateful i am to them. i would like to add, i have had 3 children at wigan mat unit. again, i think the staff on the maternity ward are just as dedicated and caring. i would recommend wigan to anyone!
What could be improved
too long waiting for medication on discharge.
