About: Tameside General Hospital

I was phoned early in the morning by staff and was encouraged to attend earlier than planned for a hernia repair if possible. I was very nervous about this first general anaesthetic and was treated with the utmost care and respect by all staff - both before and after surgery. The information I was given was accurate and clear - and any additional questions asked by me were answered fully by the medical team. The larascopic operation went very well and I am almost back to full recovery less than two weeks later. I could not have hoped for a better experience in any other hospital.
