About: Pleasley Hill Children's Centre

(as a service user),

Whilst on maternity leave with my little girl I've benefitted from my local children's centre and feel that more needs to be done for the continued use of these centres to continue.

I think a continued approach to mums need to be done upon first referral but then to continue with regular updates especially at baby weigh in sessions to get more families benefitting from these fantastic services. Also to continually work with local schools and their nursery children as a way to get families involved also.

I'm pleased to read that you have benefitted from the children's centre and hope that you continue to do so.

The Childrens Centre is always looking at ways in which we could improve on our services and the way that we promote ourselves, so would be really interested to get further feedback around your comments on the baby weigh clinics and working with the nurseries and schools. We currently do some of this, but would be very keen to explore ways in which we could imporve on this. We hold a parents forum at the centre and this would be a great opportunity for you to share any thoughts or ideas, alternatively you could speak with a member of the team.
