"Staff are great but need private spaces"

About: Knowsley NHS Walk-in Centre, Huyton

(as the patient),

I have cancer and therefore I have to undergo chemotherapy at the Walk-in center on a regular basis. The staff there is absolutely brilliant and have done everything they could to accommodate me, however, the walk-in center doesn’t have the necessary facilities for people undergoing chemo. There’s simply nowhere they can put me so I can be isolated from the rest of the patients. For example, recently I was sitting next to a child. This is very worrying for me, especially with winter coming. I wish they could put me in a separate room.
