"The staff were friendly, the ETC ..."

What I liked

The staff were friendly, the ETC unit was immaculately clean. I was kept informed about what would be happening during my stay (i was a day case patient). The nurses were on hand throughout my stay to advise and help.

What could be improved

As a day case patient you aren't given a proper bed. I fully appreciate that some pateints won't need a bed for the procedure they are having, but it was very uncomfortable when i was coming round. It would have been nice to have a comfy mattress to some round on.

Anything else?

The ETC unit is part of the new build at the MRI. the unit was clean and tidy and the staff helpful and friendly (and they were under staffed as always, but not one of them moaned or made me feel like i was mithering). I didnt want to go home!!
