"Elderly parents being treated with little respect"

About: Wansbeck Hospital

My Dad, aged 77 who suffers with dementia, is currently on ward 2 of wansbeck general hospital. He was transferred from cramlington hospital on Saturday, after being admitted there with acute diahorrea. We have no idea why he was transferred, why he is on that particular ward or what is causing his diahorrea. My mum is being given no information as she says the ward sister doesn't like her as she has been trying to find out what's happening.

My mum is visiting my dad and spending the day there, as she goes on the bus and its too far to pop home. She has been offered no flexibility on visiting times. She is 72 and not in the best of health herself. Disgusting.
