"Pediatric Community Nursing"

About: University Hospital Of North Durham

When my son suffered a ruptured appendix he was cared for by the Pediatric Community Nursing Team once he was discharged. What an amazing team of nurses they are, the care they provided was second to non.

I would also like to thank the Ambulance Crew along with the staff in A&E who were swift with their diagnosis, very supportive and professional.

Not forgetting the staff on Treetops who were marvelous.

Thank you all

Dear Amanda

Thank you for providing feedback on your son's recent care from both Treetops and the Paediatric Community Nursing Team, as well as A&E at the University Hospital of North Durham.

I am very pleased to hear that you both had a positive experience and that you are happy with the care he has received following his ruptured appendix.

The Trust is grateful for all feedback, positive or negative, as it means we can better understand what is important to our patients, and your kind comments will be shared with the Matrons and Managers of the service to pass onto all the staff on your behalf.

I know they will be encouraged by your positive comments.

Thank you for leaving your comments on NHS Choices.
