"From Ambulance to ward 31 felt in safe hands"

About: University Hospital (Coventry)

I was away from home and ended up here and all I can say is that this is a top hospital with a level of high care. I have never felt so cared for the staff were all so friendly and smiling. The amount of pressure the nurses were under and you could see the level of commitment and empathy was fantastic. Thank you to all the staff on a and e and to the lovely nurses on wards 12 and 31. They all went that extra mile to care for me and all the patients I saw.

Thank you again for making me better and also relaxed about being away from home

I’m delighted to read how you describe the care our doctors and nurses delivered to you during your stay at our hospital. It’s pleasing to hear that you felt they went the extra mile, not just for you but all our patients and that they were committed, empathetic and caring.

I have passed on your comments to the Modern Matron and Group Manager for each of departments and wards involved so they can share them with their teams.
