I'm fed up with seeing doctors in the hospital wearing clothing that can only be described as being clothes for 'going down the town'.
The doctors get mistaken for relatives as they do not stand out. The doctors need a uniform, same as other members of staff. There's 1 doctor I've ever seen at the hospital that looks professional and it's a woman that wears a white coat. Why can't the other doctors wear the long white coat? It looks professional, you can spot the doctor a mile away. Or do what they do in America, give them scrubs (different from theatre) then give badges out with their doctor type on such as 'consultant' 'sho' etc.
If the other members of staff need to wear a uniform they should too.
