"Good care but waiting time too long"

I was referred to the dermatology department in April 2015, the doctor I saw was absolutely fantastic and took me seriously after years of suffering. In July 2015 it was decided that a patch test to check for allergies was necessary. I have just chased this up and been told I'm not going to be seen until April 2016 at the earliest!

This is a real let down and quite an unacceptable waiting time. I will be contacting my GP to see if this service is available elsewhere.
