"Treatments offered by the doctors and consultants"

About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital

I will never recommend this hospital to anyone because of the layout for appointments. If your late for your appointment within any department your appointment is automatically cancelled. If the doctors or consultants arrive late at the hospital, the patients are expected to wait for hours and hours to receive their treatment. Why are the doctors or consultants offered better value of service or treatment than the patients?

Scenario 1:

I have lost complete trust with this hospital due to the fact that I was able to lose my dad due to misjudgement and treatment offered by the doctors. When my dad became unconscious on a several occasion he was rushed to hospital, without deal with any type of care and type of test they misjudged his symptoms for indigestion problems.

When my dads arteries were becoming blocked and they were not able to flow enough blood through his body. I am truly disappointment with the level of care offered by this hospital. After what my family had to go through due to this hospital I do not trust anyone at all.

Scenario 2:

My mum was referred to the hospital by the GP to have operation on her left foot due to broken bone and bunion. They had several attempt to help her but neither of the operations were successful. My mum has been left as a house prison because she is not able to leave the house. She is not able to walk for a long period of time. She has been left feeling vulnerable about the fact that she trusted the doctors and consultants to help her live a normal life. All that trust and respect has been destroyed. She doesn't trust anyone who is prepared to offer her any help for her health. She is scared about what has happened to her and how she will live her life. My mum need assistance to do house chores, go out shopping, see family and friends. Before my mum had these operation I had always seen my mum as a strong women.
