"Operation to replace leaking aortic valve with..."

I had an operation to replace my leaking aortic valve with a tissue valve in September 2013.

The whole process was outstanding and the care and attention of the whole nursing and ancilliary staff was excellent.

Papworth Hospital has a brilliant ethos and team and I wish them every success in their move to their new site in Cambridge.

Two years on, I am in excellent health (apart from having to take a low dose blood pressure tablet) and looking forward to many more years of life.
