My mum was admitted to the intensive care unit at Basildon Hospital a few weeks ago and I can't recommend the nurses and consultants on the unit highly enough.
They were the true epitome of the 6cs through an incredibly tough emotional time, talking us through what was going on every step of the way.
Sadly mum didn't make it but the care they showed myself and my family made an incredibly emotional time easier to bear.
