"The staff made it for us."

About: Musgrove Park Hospital (Taunton)

At the beginning of September myself and my partner spent 3 days in fern ward and another day in theatre along with the willow ward. As harrowing as the experience for us going through a failed induction and then a c section we could not find fault with the surgeons and the midwifery team. The midwives shine out to us massively, they looked after me and my newborn with the upmost respect & care & you always had our best interests at heart. The team in theatre that performed my c section were incredible. My after care could not have been more amazing. The nurse was sensational, you are the reason we recovered & we are doing as well as we are.To our community midwife, thank you for putting up with me and my tears. Please don't ever change, you are amazing at your jobs & you should be very proud. Lots of love & cuddles from baby Charlie, Josie & my fiancée Tom. XX

Childbirth is a very special time for parents and as you have experienced, it is not always a smooth journey.
