"Waiting too long for eye treatment"

Back in March my father who is 87 was told he needed laser treatment on his eyes. His appointment duely came through for August this year.

This week he has received another letter cancelling his August appointment and giving him a new date in March 2008.

My father is almost housebound and one of his pleasures is reading which as time goes on is finding more difficult to do.

I believe 12 months waiting for this treatment is disgusting and goodness knows what his eyesight will be like by March next year.
