"Disgusting"

About: Basildon University Hospital

I took my sixteen year old daughter who has cerebal palsy to a&e only to be told after four hours because of goverment waiting times my daughter would be moved to a ward and she would see a doctor there at 21:30. I left the hospital and left my phone numbers so they could contact me if there was any change. As far as I knew they would keep my daughter in overnight and give her a scan in the morning to see what was happening.

Then dropped my younger daughter at school went to hospital only to be told my daughter was in theatre. I had not even been contacted and my daughter asked them to phone me. I spoke to staff on the ward after seeing my daughter on her return from theatre in a blood splattered gown, and upset as I was not there. She was distressed after making a complaint on leaving the ward only to hear myself and daughter being discussed by the hcsw who was spoken toy senior staff in a public corridor.

Not acceptable on any level
