What I liked
The midwive and student midwive who delivered my baby were wonderful
What could be improved
communication between staff. I was admitted to M2 after finding out i was quite far into a unexpected pregnant and experiecing a uti, I was discharged and only got my antibiotics after reminding the midwife I needed them as she' had forgot' . On my discharge no referal was made to my community midwife team & they only came after phoning the mat dept twice a week later. No referral was made to the antinatal clinic for me it was only the fact that the midwife from my g.p call to see me that one was made. I would never have another baby at this maternity unit again. They dont commuicate with each other and have made a previous complaint about the way some of the midwives treat patients on M2. They should lead by example of the midwives on M3 who seem to know and understand the principals of good communication.
Anything else?
the delievery suites could really do with a good clean the dried blood down the sink was very off putting. Not really the type of place you want your baby to born in.
