What I liked

The speed of assessment was 100%. My mother was treated with the utmost respect and finally after many months of deterioration and total lack of diagnosis on the part of the local medical team she is very close to recovery thanks to the clever A and E consultant( I will personally thank her when we get the chance) . I will be making sure that local teams are made more aware of this condition. Elderly so often get overlooked and the assumption is " its old age"

What could be improved

When my mother was moved from resus to a normal bay - no one came to advise me so I lost her for a while! I do however realise that its not a hotel and the team were VERY busy with 4 urgent cases that came in all at the same time.

Anything else?

I have not had a good exp in maternity at stepping hill but this recent visit gains top marks! well done.
