What I liked

I recently gave birth to my first baby at Warrington hospital. Thanks to the staff this experience was the best in my life so far. My son was a large baby weighing 10lbs 8oz and I had a long and complicated pregnancy. The midwives and doctors are dedicated, caring and respectful. I would go as far as to say some of them a heroes in their own right. I have had several bad experiences of the hospital in general, but the labour and maturnity departments cannot be categorized with the rest of the hospital. I not only recommend this unit to friends but I look forward to having my next child there. The midwife who delivered my son was not just exeptionally good at her job, but she was a miracle worker. My son was a very large baby, and I managed to give birth to him with no stitches or tears, which I believe was down to the advice and care of the midwife. She also made the experience good for my partner and my mother who were with me at the birth, making them feel involved. The after care of all the midwives and doctors has also been outstanding. I cannot thank warrington hospital enough for making this experience so pleasurable. I have been treated as an individual, and all of my personal needs have been cared for at the highest standards. I would not have changed a single thing about the process or experience. The midwives and doctors are truely dedicated and cannot be praised enough. I can never repay them for the memories that they have given me, and I am very grateful.
