A few weeks ago I was very critical of the lack of contact from administrative staff at the hospital. Having finally secured an outpatient, follow-up appointment through my GP it is only right that I recognise the excellent treatment that I received on 11 September from the Cath Lab staff in the Cardiac Centre.
The two assistants and the doctor treated me with respect and informed me fully on the process that I was to undergo and kept me informed throughout on progress. They regularly checked on how I was feeling and ensured that I only left when I had recovered fully from the effects of the drug that I had been given. This was really impressive.
As before, when I was admitted by ambulance, I have found the treatment at the hospital to be very good. Please ensure that proper follow-up on patients is carried out to the same level in future, so that total hospital service is seen to be really good and patients do not feel forgotten having left the building.
"Much better service!"
