About: Pinderfields General Hospital

Not a good experience at all. Had been called the day before appointment (after 93 day wait) to cancel. I had arranged time off work for this so was very annoyed. A few hours later however,I got a call to say that there had "been another clinic added" and the appointment was now on again, although a different venue and time. Having arrived, can't fault the reception staff who were friendly and polite, but could tell immediately that the consultant just didn't really want to know. First of all they failed to introduce themself (my pet hate) and sat slouched in the chair thoughout the consultation flicking through a

BNF! Was quite rude and simply treated me like a bimbo whose only concern was appearance. Suggested that I might ultimately need to see a plastic surgeon "but of course you'd have to pay privately", as if this was a problem! It wasn't! You really shouldn't make judgements about people when you've only just met them. If they're that bored in their job they should be doing something else.
