What I liked
The effort the staff made to explain the procedure to me and the efforts to apologise for any delay, despite that, on one visit to the MRI department, it was obvious they were dealing with a serious emergency.
What could be improved
The time between investigative treatment and that information being passed on to my GP and me.It is difficult having painful symptoms and nothing that can suppress them adequately. This said, I understand the need to get an accurate diagnosis.
Anything else?
On one occasion I rang the specialist nurse team to ask for any update of results and the nurse I spoke with was a) professional but b) lacking in people skills I feel or empathy at least. On the two other occasions I have found the nurses both professional and empathetic.
