What I liked

I was looked after very well The staff were caring, helpful and polite. The treatment I received was excellent and I felt the hospital was very efficient.

What could be improved

When I was discharged I received not one word of advice or after care. A simple information sheet containing guidelines for exercise or activities to be avoided following the operation would have been useful ( similar to the ones about pain relief, anaesthetics, control of infection etc.which were given at the pre-op assessment). Information given to me regarding the taking out of stitches was incorrect.
