my son was admitted to blackburn A & E on the 4 may as he had been a victim of a vicious assault, the hospital did not contact us the parents even though my son is a minor, he was treated like he was a thug who had been fighting and come out second best whereas he was actually a victim, he was just cleaned up and treated for his injuries and sent on his way, no discharge letter, no after care instructions, no follow up appointment nothing. Even now nothing has been sent or given to my son from the hospital. I am disgusted at the way this has been handled and i have written a strong letter of complaint about the matter. Its time Burnley General was re-opened so better care and understanding is re-instated.
