"sunday surgery"

About: University Hospital Lewisham

I went to Lewisham hospital for an operation.

I have never had one before and can tell you I was more than a bit stressed. (not that I let anyone know that).

The nursing staff were friendly extremely kind, I was never left alone and even escorted out to my daughter waiting for me in reception.

The operation went very well and the anaesthetic which I was dreading absolutely fine lovely anaesthetist and funny nurse keeping me distracted, lovely person

What can I say could have asked for better treatment.

Thank you for your feedback on the positive experience that you had during your recent operation. It is really important to us that staff directly involved in patient care receive this feedback too, so it will be shared with staff in theatres and recovery for them to see.
