The reception team at the Maternity Unit are incredibly rude and unhelpful. It's just shocking that they should be speaking to pregnant people in this manner, which can leave people in a distressed condition. I was hung up on more than once and spoken to very aggressively by one particular member of staff and I am 36 weeks pregnant - a situation which left me in tears and causing unknown distress to my baby also. It's knocked my confidence in the department and I am now concerned about how I will be treated in this department for the rest of my pregnancy and delivery.
