"Being transwoman I'd had ..."

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

(as the patient),

What I liked

Being transwoman I'd had to make a fuss about being discriminated against when I was in the same ward in Dec 08 so I was wondering how I'd be seen and treated this time but it went perfectly well until half an hour before I was dfischarged when one person let me know I am transsexual.

Nice friendly staff getting on with their jobs and being friendly and informative at same time.

Nice trip round to the surgery suite and put to sleep by nice smiley guy from the team there.

The ward staff took care of my toilet needs very discreetly so I have can only say it just a nice experience altogether.

What could be improved

Nothing really. Its fine as is.

Anything else?

The NHS needs a magic wand to wave over those people who moan regardless of how well things are...tap the wand on their heads and fix all their problems without them needing to go into hospital...failing a magic wand what about setting wards aside for moaners?
