"Poor Treatment"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

My Father has now been in hospital for over a week waiting for tests to be competed so he can formally be diagnosed. He has been kept in disgusting and unhygienic conditions. He is not been provided with the proper diet he requires and despite having significant weight loss and dietary recommendations he is being left with out food at meal times. He has become very distressed waiting for his results and tests further impacting on his health. I am absolutely appalled by the treatment he is receiving and the lack of empathy for the impact this is having on my father and his family members. I have also tried to contact the PALS services and left four messages expressing I wish to raise a complaint and as yet no one has been in contact.

I am really sorry about this poor experience. This is not the standard of care we aim to provide.
