nothing in emergency.Only once I got up to the ward, did nurses start treating me with dignity and respect, as a human being.

What could be improved

the ER doctors should show more compassion for their patients that are suffering. Try to make it more comfortable for them.Emergency Ultrasounds should be 24/7, not make a labouring preterm woman suffer all night! Also give epidural if the baby is dead inside and you need to give birth naturally. Or anything to ease the torturous pain. Less wait, more respect, more service, more compassion. thanks.

I was four months pregnant, and had been to this emergency a week before losing the baby. They did a quick ultrasound and sent me back home with all my symptoms, saying that everything was just fine. A week later, I went again with severe labour pains, and the doctors and nurses didnt seem to care at all! I was dying from pain, and they all just took their time in the ER. After screaming for a couple hours, they finally gave me something for the pain. They put me on a stretcher in a cold room, with no pillow, and only checked on me every few hours while the pain kept getting worse! I was bleeding really badly and it is only until morning that a sweet nurse came by and helped me out. The doctor was kind of rude to me though, and very cold. I never even complained once, not even for the pillow, where my back and neck were hurting all night! Only this nurse asked me if I was comfortable the next morning, and hat is when I told her how bad a night I had. We did not know if my baby was still alive, and they still made me wait all night till morning to have an ultrasound, which by that time it was too late, and the baby was dead inside of me. They still refused to give me something strong for the pain, except morphine, which stopped doing anything once I was upstairs and still had to give birth to my deceased baby naturally with all the worse pain I have ever had in my life. If I had a choice, I would never go to this hospital again. Thank you.
