"Looking after patients personal hygiene"

About: Basildon University Hospital

My husband was recently admitted to the Surgical Assessment ward where he stayed for 3 days while his appendix was assessed. We were very concerned that no members of staff seemed to be concerned if patients had had a shower/wash or were offered bed baths. In fact one patient said he had not had a wash for 4 days as he was unable to!
