"Delivery of baby toby james carter"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

We are now the proud parents of our son toby james born 24/08/2015. Thanks in great part to the fantastic maternity centre at the john radcliffe. My pregnancy was considered high risk, and from my referral early on, all the way to birth, the staff at the john radcliffe were exceptional. I was treated with respect, kept informed on everything going on, and was looked after when i needed it most. The one to one care from the midwives was incredible and their workrate was second to none. Unfortunately in the end our son had to be delivered by a team of doctors. Again The professionalism from the doctors was incredible. We never felt like we didnt know what was going on. Then the staff on level 6 with aftercare were fantastic too, and looked after me and baby very well indeed. All in all a stressful time made easier by the great staff at the john radcliffe.

Many congratulations on the arrival of your baby boy! Thank you so much for taking the time (out of what must be a very busy schedule with a new born!) to provide this lovely feedback. It is wonderful to hear that a very stressful time was made so much easier by all of the staff you encountered. At Oxford University Hospitals we aim to treat each individual with compassion and respect and make sure that they are as well informed about their care as possible. It is great to learn that this is what you experienced. Your comments will be passed on to the relevant teams.
