I have stopped going to the hospital for help as an outpatient because i have been searching for mental help from drs, hospitals, Councillors ect...i have been everywere, then i got referd to bootham park hospital, and i just got the same 'aw well we dont care attitude' like everwere else i been, they have not got a clue about mental illness and they have no dignity nor any idea how bad ive sufferd and as much as ive searched now ive given up, my support worker or whatever they were i dont know went away for 2 weeks and booked me in to see them a week after they came back wich meant a 3 week wait to see them, the support worker then also said i should have a phone call about then next 3 weeks to have an appointment, no phone call for about a week that meant i had missed a session, then i called the place myself and they said id receive a phone call, no phone call, so after 4 days of waiting i called the hospital again and said they could not get through but my phone is on constantly so because im nuts anyway they think its good to just make me out to be even worse! again said id get another call and i didnt...soo im never going there again and i would not recommend this place neither.
