"Great minor injuries unit."

About: Wharfedale Hospital

Had occasion to use the minor injuries unit yesterday when my daughter had hurt her ankle the night before and then decided it was to painful to walk on the next day. Having used the LGI in the past, this was a breath of fresh air. Parking available on site, so no driving around for ages trying to find a spot and the traffic was much better getting there too. Once in the hospital the staff were fantastic and the whole process was quick and efficient. I'd thoroughly recommend using the unit here over the A&E in Leeds if your problem meets the criteria of a minor injury.

Dear Mr Collins

Thank you for taking the time to write to us about your experience of this service, unfortunately I need to inform you that the minor injuries units in Leeds come under the jurisdiction of Local Care Direct and not Leeds Teaching Hospitals. If you do want to provide your feedback to them you can do so here: http://www.localcaredirect.org/get-in-touch/.

I am sorry to read that your previous experiences of Leeds General Infirmary have not been as good; in the unfortunate event that you or your family ever need to make use of A+E services in Leeds again I hope that we can exceed your expectations.

Kindest regards

Rosie
