"Tooth removal of ultra nervous patient"

About: Macclesfield District General Hospital

I was called for a 2 tooth extraction under a required general, Monday. Was admitted as day patient this afternoon.

I was really pleased booking had listened to my Gps request to bring it forward as they could from the 18 week target time and they did!

My treatment from reception through to ward staff through to anaesthesia and surgeon was outstanding.

The day facility was obviously working like a well oiled efficient machine, steady flow in and out , beds not getting cold! This in no way compromised dignity and care values. I balled for the first hr. Staff were reassuring and enstilled confidence.

Human resources are the most valuable. The department have a fab team.

X Ray had a board promoting Radiographer of the week..... I'd like to nominate Dept of the week in hope they get a bit of a mention on internal memos/ new sheets! People are quick to criticise and slow to praise ......
