"I get to know the carers and then they change"

About: Carewatch (Inverclyde) (Ayrshire) (Dunbartonshire) (Argyll & Bute)

(as a service user),

Carewatch carers come to my home twice a day, morning and tea time. I did have a few problems but things are not too bad now. Sometimes the carers were coming late and I had to phone up to complain; I didn’t want dinner at 6. 45pm when my slot was 5pm. I feel they are trying to improve on this. Part of the problem is the girls don’t have travel time to get to the different houses.

I will also get the same girls for a while, I get to know them and then they change. I’ve complained about this but it hasn’t improved.

Apart from this I’m very lucky with this service. The girls are usually nice, you can have a wee blether. I appreciate what I’m getting.
