"Nothing short of a miracle"

I recently underwent an ablation to the nerves in my lower back, and would like to say how fantastic the whole team at the Horder Centre were . I am an ex district nurse who chose the centre as I'd seen so many patients with positive outcomes of their surgeries , and they were all very happy with the treatment and care .

I had been in severe pain for five years , with no definite diagnosis, was unable to work and even walking was becoming a problem (I'm only 58! ) .I had very little treatment with no follow up when it failed and eventually after a struggle , was referred by my GP,.

A delightful consultant referred me to someone else in the first instance to see if my pain could be improved and after a diagnostic injection. I went on to have the ablation last week .

From start to finish the staff were great, and though they had a long list , were kindness personified .

The procedure seems to have been successful so far, and my pain is much improved.

I cannot speak highly enough of the Horder Centre, I feel my life has been given back in an afternoon and I'm so grateful .
