I recently had cardiac angioplasty in Papworth Hospital and it was the best experience I have ever had in an NHS hospital (and I have had a great, many as patient/parent/relative).
The procedure was carried out with care and i was informed and consulted all the way.
I had to stay in overnight unexpectedly and again was treated with great care and consideration. As I was unable to arrange transport home a hospital driver was provided.
The food was excellent, healthy/quality/beautifully presented. I would have been happy to pay for it in a restaurant. Thank you.
