"orthoptics department and short stay eye..."

I have visited the Orthoptics department a number of times over the past two years for regular tests and monitoring of my eyes because of the double vision I was experiencing.

I had surgery to correct the problem on August 3rd at the short-stay eye unit where, again, I could not have asked for better care.

Everyone I had contact with during my hospital visits - orthoptists, doctors, nurses, care assistants and administrators, treated me with skill, respect and understanding and I would like to thank them all, especially my surgeon who is, quite simply, the best doctor I have ever had looking after me.
