I was admitted to the labour ward after spending a short time on the maternity ward while the midwifes checked me and monitored the baby. I was then taken to the labour ward. I was made to feel very comfortable and the midwifes were very friendly and made me feel at ease. I went through quite a traumatic birth and ended up in surgery afterwards but the midwifes, student midwife and the doctors were brilliant and explained everything to me and were even giving me hugs to calm me down. I would like to thank all the staff that were there and helped me (I'm sorry I can't remember all your names as the gas and air completely knocked me out lol) My beautiful baby is now coming up 4 weeks old and he's doing brilliantly. Thank you xxx
"Thank you to all the midwifes"
